Generation Z stressors in the work environment

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se věnuje problematice stresorů generace Z v pracovním prostředí. Zkoumá, co členy patřící do této generace v pracovním prostředí stresuje, jak se u nich stres projevuje, jak se s ním vypořádávají a jaké kroky podniká jejich zaměstnavatel ke snížení stresu na pracovišti. V praktické části této práce jsou syntetizovány obecné pracovní stresory a následně porovnány s výsledky hloubkových rozhovorů s respondenty z generace Z. Práce poté předkládá doporučení a návrhy pro organizace, které chtějí stres u svých zaměstnanců z této generace eliminovat nebo snižovat. Vzniká tak pro společnosti návod pro práci se stresem u generace Z.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on generation Z stressors in the work environment. It explores what stresses members of generation Z in the work environment, how their stress manifests itself, in what ways they deal with stress and what steps do their employers take to reduce stress in the workplace. In the practical part of this paper, general work stressors are synthesized from literature and then compared with the results of in-depth interviews with generation Z respondents. The thesis makes recommendations and suggestions ro organizations that want to eliminate or reduce stress of their employees generation Z. This results in a set of instructions for companies, how to deal with generation Z’s stress.
