Design of a data structure of the geographic database ArcČR 500 whit advantage of the Esri geodatabase format

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá inovací datového modelu ArcČR500 verze 3.2., který plně nevyužívá možnosti formátu ESRI Geodatabase, naplněním tohoto modelu daty a prezentuje možnosti jeho využití na názorných příkladech. V práci jsou popsány možnosti formátu ESRI Geodatabase. Získané poznatky jsou aplikovány do inovovaného datového modelu ArcČR500. Na základě logického datového modelu jsou vytvořeny sady nástrojů, které umožňují automatizovaný převod stávajícího ArcČR500 verze 3.2 do inovované struktury. Pokud není možné některou část zpracování provádět automaticky, je prezentován postup pro ruční vytvoření. Sady nástrojů jsou tvořeny modely a skripty. Výsledný inovovaný model odpovídá tematickému obsahu geografické databáze ArcČR500 a rozšiřuje možnosti jejího využití, například ve výuce. Za tímto účelem jsou vytvořeny tematické příklady, které názorně ukazují využití jednotlivých komponent formátu ESRI Geodatabase.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with innovation of the ArcČR500 data model version 3.2, which does not fully exploit the possibilities of the ESRI Geodatabase format as well as with filling the model with data and presenting its possible use by illustrative examples. The thesis describes possibilities of the ESRI Geodatabase format. Acquired findings are applied to the innovative ArcČR500 data model. Based on the logical data model toolkits are primarily created which enable the automated transfer of the existing ArcČR500 data model version 3.2 into the revised structure. If it is not possible to perform any part of the processing automatically, a procedure for manual process is presented. The toolkits consist of models and scripts. The final innovative model corresponds to the thematic content of the ArcČR 500 geographic database expands the possibilities of its use, for example in education. Thematic examples are created for that purpose which demonstrate the use of individual components of the ESRI Geodatabase.
