Childbirth from the perspective of a paramedic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce s názvem „Porod z pohledu zdravotnického záchranáře“ je rozdělena na dvě části – část teoretickou a část výzkumnou. Teoretická část shrnuje informace o porodu, popis jednotlivých porodních dob, možné komplikace, se kterými se může zdravotnický záchranář setkat při převozu rodičky na porodnické pracoviště zdravotnického zařízení. Tato část se věnuje i zdravotnické legislativě související s kompetencemi zdravotnického záchranáře. Neopomenul jsem zmínit ani plánované porody doma, což je dnes velmi diskutabilní téma. Výzkumná část je zaměřena na zmapování edukace zdravotnických záchranářů v problematice porod mimo zdravotnické zařízení a dále na vyhodnocení stanovených cílů.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is called „Childbirth from the perspective of a paramedic“ is divided into two parts - a theoretical and a research one. The theoretical part summarizes information about the delivery, describes the stages of the delivery and possible complications that a paramedic can face when transporting a mother to the health care facility. This part also includes legislation that is related to competencies of the paramedic. In addition, I did not forget to mention planned childbirths at home, because this is such a controversial topic nowadays. The research part is focused on the educational process of paramedics in the issue of delivery in the prehospital care and on the evaluation of the established goals as well.
