Fracture of distal forearm during skiagraphy and fluoroscopy

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na profesní provázanost radiologického asistenta a traumatologa při léčbě pacienta se zlomeninou distálního předloktí. Teoretická část zahrnuje anatomii distálního předloktí. Stručně popisuje rentgenové záření a základní rtg zobrazení této oblasti. Zabývá se problematikou klasifikace fraktury distálního předloktí. Popisuje možné léčebné metody při rozdílnosti poškození. Pozornost věnuje správné technice provedení rtg vyšetření a práci radiologického asistenta na operačním sále. Práce zmiňuje problémy při rtg vyšetřeních a možné následné komplikace provázející zranění. Studie sleduje pacienty přicházející do Nemocnice Přerov se skeletálním zraněním distálního předloktí a jejich následnou, zvláště operační léčbu. Srovnává pohlaví, věkový průměr a použitou léčebnou metodu u pacientů s diagnostikovanou frakturou distálního předloktí v Nemocnici Přerov za rok 2010. Porovnává metody operační léčby fraktury distálního předloktí v Nemocnici Přerov z pohledu radiologického asistenta, traumatologa ? operatéra a nezapomíná ani na pacienta.

Abstract:

This Bachelor Study is focused on cross-linking of radiology assistant with orthopedic traumatologist in the treatment of distal forearm fracture. The theoretical part includes the anatomy of distal forearm. It briefly describes X-ray and basic X-ray imaging of this body part. It deals with problems of distal forearm fracture classification. Then it describes some treatment possibilities within different kind of damage. It pays attention to correct use of X-ray techniques and the work of radiology assistant during surgery. This study also mentions problems during X-ray examination and possible conclusive complications of injury. It pursues incoming patients with skeletal injuries of distal forearm to Přerov Hospital and then their follow-up care, particulary on their surgical treatment. The study compares average age and sex of patients diagnosed with distal forearm fracture and treatment method used in Přerov Hospital in 2010. This study compares methods of surgical treatment of distal forearm fracture used in Přerov Hospital. First, from the radiology assistant's point of view, second, from the orthopedic traumatology surgeon's point of view. Also, it doesn't forget patient's needs.
