A game and a toy in the life of pre-school age of a child.

Abstract:

Ve své bakalářské práci se zabývám hrou a jejím významem pro dítě preprimárního věku. Ke hře dětí preprimárního věku neodmyslitelně patří materiální předmět- hračka. V bakalářské práci se také zmiňuji o požadavcích na správnou hračku. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena po stránce obsahové do dvou částí: teoretické a praktické. V teoretické části bakalářské práce podávám komplexnější náhled na hru a hračku v historii, na podstatu hry, její charakteristiku. Uvádím změny, kterými hra prochází v souvislosti s vývojem dítěte. Zabývám se potřebami, které dítě ve hře uspokojuje, uvádím typické znaky hry a různá dělení her. Zaměřuji se na to, co dítěti přináší volná hra, jak se v ní cítí a projevuje. Zmiňuji se o úloze učitelky při volné hře dětí v mateřské škole. Ke hře dítěte neodmyslitelně patří hračka. Nastiňuji zde také problematiku důležitosti výběru hraček ke hře, především kritéria, která by měla správná hračka splňovat. Hlavním cílem praktické části bakalářské práce bylo zjistit, jaké hračky chlapci a děvčata v preprimárním věku při hře v mateřské škole nejčastěji používají, u předškolních dětí pak, zda se častěji zapojují do řízených, didakticky zacílených aktivit, či spontánních aktivit. U rodičů bylo zjišťováno formou dotazníku, zda rodiče věnují pozornost hře dětí a jaká kritéria považují za důležitá při výběru hraček pro děti.

Abstract:

My bachelor?s thesis deals with play and its significance for children of pre-primary age. Since children, in most cases, need a material object - a toy for their play, my thesis also refers to the requirements for appropriate toys. My bachelor?s thesis is divided into two parts according to the content: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part of the thesis gives a more detailed overview of the play and toy, the fundaments of the play, its characteristics. I present how the play changes gradually in line with the child?s development. I deal with the needs which the child satisfies by the play, and state the typical features of the play as well as the various different divisions of plays. I focus on what a free play brings to the child, how it feels and behaves in it. I briefly describe the task of the teacher during the free play of children in a nursery school. The child?s play is inseparably connected to the toy. Therefore, I also outline the issue how important the selection of play toys is, in particular the requirements which appropriate toys should meet. The main aim of the practical part of the bachelor?s thesis was to determine what toys boys and girls at the pre-primary age use most by playing at nursery school; and whether pre-school children get more often involved in controlled didactically focused activities or spontaneous activities. Parents were interviewed by questionnaires whether they pay attention to children?s play and what criteria they consider important when selecting toys for children.
