Virtual Machines for Linux
Abstract:
Cílem práce je srovnání různých implementací virtuálních strojů pro Linux a demonstrace jejich výhod a rozdílů na příkladech použití. Práce je zaměřena na virtualizaci na úrovni jádra operačního systému, porovnává systém Linux-Vserver (www.linux-vserver.org) a OpenVZ (www.openvz.org), popisuje funkce poskytované těmito systémy a demonstruje využití podstatných vlastností.
Abstract:
The aim of the work is to compare different implementations of virtual machines for Linux and to demonstrate their advantages and differences by using of examples of application. The work deals with operating system-level virtualization, compares Linux-VServer (www.linux-vserver.org) and OpenVZ (www.openvz.org), describes their functions and show application of significant features.
