Optimization of assembly line using lean management tools

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce „Optimalizace výrobní linky pomocí nástrojů štíhlé výroby“ je identifikovat hlavní příčiny plýtvání a pomocí nástrojů štíhlé výroby je eliminovat. První část textu se zabývá koncepcí lean managementu a nástroji, které jsou poté aplikované v konkrétním podniku. Konec první části je obohacen o motivaci zaměstnanců, která ve spojení se štíhlou výrobou hraje významnou roli. V druhé části textu je představen vybraný podnik, popsán jeho současný stav a jsou představena navržená opatření s ekonomickým zhodnocením.

Abstract:

The goal of the submitted thesis: “Optimization of assembly line using lean management tools” is to identify main causes of waste and to outline their elimination by means of the lean management tools. The first part of the text deals with the concept of lean management tools that are then applied to a selected company. The end of the first part touches approaches to motivation of employees, which represents an important contribution to achieving business objectives in conjunction with lean manufacturing. In the second part of the text, the selected company is introduced along with a description of the current situation. Proposed corrective actions are presented and accompanied with relevant economic evaluation.
