Abstract:
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to present the picture of the 19th century Victorian society according to Oscar Wilde. It will mainly focus on hypocrisy, (im)morality, conventions, false values and narrow-mindedness of 1890s Victorian upper-class. Cílem této bakalářské práce je představit obraz viktoriánské společnosti 19. století očima Oscara Wildea. Zaměřuje se především na pokrytectví, (ne)morálnost, konvence, "pokřivené" hodnoty a předsudky viktoriánské společnosti na konci 19. století.
