Cryptocurrencies in the Juvenile World

Abstract:

Diplomová práce na téma „Kryptoměny ve světě mladistvých“ se zabývá problematikou kryptoměn a jejich vztahy souvisejícími s kybernetickými hrozbami. Předmětem zkoumání je skupina nezletilých osob ve věku od 15 – 17 let v Karlovarském kraji, kde je zjišťováno, jaké mají mladiství zkušenosti a znalosti v oblasti kryptoměn a kybernetických trestných činů. Cílem předložené práce je zjistit, co mladistvé vede ke koupi virtuálních měn, proč se případně odchylují od konzervativního zacházení se svými úsporami a zda si uvědomují riskantnost svého chování stát se lehce obětí trestného činu. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. První až třetí část poskytuje ucelený náhled v oblasti kryptoměn, kybernetických hrozeb a legislativy, jež se dotčeného přehledu týká. Poslední a závěrečná část představuje výsledky zkoumání a přináší odpovědi na výzkumné otázky z dotazníkového šetření.

Abstract:

The master thesis on "Cryptocurrencies in the juvenile world " deals with the issue of cryptocurrencies and their relations to cyber threats. The subject of the research is a group of minors aged 15-17 in the Karlovy Vary region, where it is being found out what experience and knowledge the minors have in the field of cryptocurrencies and cybercrimes. The aim of the thesis is to find out what leads juveniles to purchase virtual currencies, why they deviate from conservative treatment of their savings and whether they are aware of the riskiness of their behaviour of becoming an easy victim of crime. The thesis is divided into four chapters. Parts one to three provide a comprehensive overview of cryptocurrencies, cyber threats and the legislation involved. The last and final section presents research results and comes up with answers to research questions from a questionnaire survey.
