Application of Various Cleavages Theories in Extra-European Context: The Japanese Case
Abstract:
The goal of this paper is to determine, whether the various cleavages theories are applicable on japanese party system since 1868 until nowadays. If some specifications of japanese polity will affect analysed topic, then the limits of cleavages theories application in extra-european context will be discussed.
Abstract:
Táto práca sa snaží zistiť, či je možná aplikácia rôznych teórií konfliktných línií na japonský stranícky systém od roku 1868 dodnes. Ak sa vyskytnú špecifiká japonskej politiky ovplyvňjúce skúmanú oblasť, tak budú uvažované limity aplikácie teórií cleavages v mimoeurópskom kontexte.
