Diversity of tram tracks flora

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá průzkumem rostlin rostoucích v tramvajových kolejištích. Pro tento průzkum bylo vybráno 5 měst – Brno, Olomouc, Ostrava, Plzeň a Praha. Na tramvajových zastávkách a mezi nimi byly zaznamenávány seznamy druhů a povrchů. Nalezeno bylo celkem 200 rostlinných taxonů, z toho 103 původních. Nejčastějšími taxony byly např. okruh rdesna ptačího (Polygonum aviculare agg.), ječmen myší (Hordeum murinum), starček obecný (Senecio vulgaris) a locika kompasová (Lactuca serriola). Nalezeno bylo také 7 ohrožených druhů, mezi které patřila např. kuřinka solná (Spergularia marina). Provedené statistické analýzy navíc prokázaly, že mezi sledovanými městy i povrchy je v rámci druhového složení viditelný rozdíl. V každém městě až na Prahu se vyskytovaly jisté druhy, které pro ně byly typické. Pro Plzeň to byl např. jitrocel vraní nožka (Plantago coronopus).

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the research of plants growing in tram tracks. There were selected 5 cities for this research – Brno, Olomouc, Ostrava, Plzeň and Praha. Lists of species and character of tracks were recorded on stops and between them. There were 200 species found in total. 103 of them were native to the Czech Republic. The most frequent ones were for example prostrate knotweed (Polygonum aviculare agg.), wall barley (Hordeum murinum), groundsel (Senecio vulgaris) and prickly lettuce (Lactuca serriola). There were also found 7 endangered species – for example salt sandspurry (Spergularia marina). Statistical analysis also discovered that there was a difference between the flora of particual cities. In every city except Praha there were species typical for the city. For example, buck's-horn plantain (Plantago coronopus) in Plzeň.
