Existencial Communication in the Philosophy of Existece of Karl Jaspers

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na existenciální komunikaci německého filosofa 20. století Karla Jasperse. V úvodu diplomové práce je nastíněna problematika překladu pojmů Dasein a Existenz, které jsou pro Jaspersovu filosofii existence zásadní. Práce se věnuje projasnění koncepce existenciální komunikace na základě odlišení existenciální komunikace od objektivních způsobů komunikace. Práce chce zároveň dokázat, že Jaspersovo pojetí existenciální komunikace je výjimečné, ačkoli je nedoceněné. Diplomová práce objasňuje základní pojmy, jež souvisí s existenciální komunikací ve filosofii Karla Jasperse: mezní situace, komunikace, transcendence, objímající a jiné.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis is focused on existential communication in philosophy of existence developed by German philosopher Karl Jaspers. It starts with the problem of translation of original key terms Dasein and Existenz. This thesis focuses on elucidating the concept of existential communication based on distinction between existencial communication and objective mode of communication. The aim of this thesis is to prove that Jaspers' conception of existential communication is extraordinary even if not properly appreciated. Diploma thesis explains Karl Jaspers' notions related with existential communication in his philosophy: boundary situation, communication, transcendence, embracing and others.
