Hans Krása a Pavel Haas, přední hudební skladatelé meziválečného období, se narodili ve stejný rok 1899 a zemřeli ve stejný den v Osvětimi. Hans Krása se v Praze učil kompozici u Zemlinského, dále pak u Roussela v Paříži, Pavel Haas byl brněnským žákem Leoše Janáčka. Abstract:
Hans Krasa and Paul Haas, eminent music composers of the inter-war era, were both born in the same year 1899 and died on the same day in Auschwitz. Hans Krasa studied composition in Prague at Zemlinski, then in Paris at Roussel. Paul Haas was Leos Janacek's student in Prague.
