Abstract:
This thesis deals with two perspectives on the Munich Agreement from 1938, concretly the British and the Czechoslovak one. As the Munich Agreement is perceived in both countries differently, the thesis will analyse the interwar situation in Britain and Czechoslovakia which led to their different policies, mainly to different attitudes towards Germany. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá dvojím pohledem na Mnichovskou dohodu z roku 1938, a to konkrétně britským a československým. Jelikož je Mnichov v obou zemích vnímán odlišně, bude práce analyzovat i meziválečnou situaci, která vedla k rozdílné zahraniční politice těchto zemí, především k odlišnému postoji vůči Německu.
