Resistive temperature sensors on flexible substrates

Abstract:

Práce je zaměřena na popis funkčnosti, vlastností, standardů a využití odporových teplotních senzorů a materiálu použitého při konstrukci senzorů. Počínaje pevnými, ale také ohebnými, substráty až po nejčastěji používané kovové odporové materiály a vodivé kontakty. Dále také porovnání RTD s jinými typovými teplotními senzory. Neposledně způsoby kalibrace, zapojení a následného měření a popis chyb měření. Vytvoření souhrnné tabulky výrobců a jejich dostupných ohebných senzorů. Seznam je tvořen převáže třemi největšími výrobci pomocí průmyslového vyhledávače GlobalSpec. Hlavní přínos této práce je v sepsání informací o odporových teplotních senzorech a výčet hlavních výrobců a jejich jednotlivých odporových senzorů na ohebných nosných materiálech, které jsou uvedeny v tabulce. Z vytvořeného seznamu se zjistilo, že největšími výrobci je Minco Project, Int a OMEGA Engineering, kteří využívají platinu jako odporový materiál. Polyamidový nebo silikonový pružný materiál pro nosnou složku s přívody z poniklovaných měděných drátů a velká část uvedených senzorů je k dispozici do sedmi pracovních dnů.

Abstract:

The work is focused on the description of functionality, properties, standards and use of resistance temperature sensors as well as materials used in sensor design, which range from solid but also flexible substrates to the most commonly used metal resistance materials and conductive contacts. In addition, the RTD comparison with other temperature sensors. Methods of calibration, connection and subsequent measurement and description of measurement errors. Creation of summary tables for manufacturers and their available and flexible sensors will be another point of this thesis. The created list consists mostly of the three largest manufacturers using the GlobalSpec industrial search engine. The main benefit of this thesis is to collect the information about the resistance temperature sensors and to list the main manufacturers and their individual resistive sensors on the load bearing materials, which are presented in the table. It was found that the largest manufacturers such as Minco and OMEGA Engineering, use platinum as a resistive material and polyamide or flexible silicone material used for the load bearing component with nickel-plated copper wires and a large proportion of these sensors is available within seven business days.
