Attitude of socio-demographic groups in the city of Děčín towards selected operational models of carsharing

Abstract:

Carsharing je jednou ze stále se rozrůstajících služeb sdílené dopravy. Na území města Děčín tato služba zatím není zavedena, avšak mohla by zde najít uplatnění. Pro potenciálního provozovatele je potřebné zjistit, zda by o tuto službu ze strany poptávky byl zájem, či nikoli. Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit, jak se liší u rozdílných sociodemografických skupin obyvatel Děčína postoj k vybraným provozním modelům carsharingu. K dosažení cíle je využito kromě sekundárních dat také dotazníkové šetření na obyvatelích města Děčín. Získaná data budou dále zpracována statistickými testy. Nynější literatura popisuje obecné specifikace poptávky po carsharingu, výběr typů modelů carsharingu obyvateli Děčína však popsán není. Práce může být využita potenciálním provozovatelem carsharingu ve městě Děčín, zároveň práce poukáže na různé pohledy sociodemografických skupin na různé modely carsharingu, což může být vstupem pro další zlepšování služeb ve městech, kde už tato služba funguje.

Abstract:

Carsharing is one of the ever-growing shared transport services. This service has not yet been introduced in the city of Děčín, but it could find a place here. For a potential operator it is necessary to find out whether or not there would be interest in this service from the demand side. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to find out how different socio-demographic groups of the inhabitants of Děčín have different attitudes towards selected carsharing operating models. In order to achieve this goal, in addition to secondary data, a questionnaire survey of the residents of the city of Děčín is used. The collected data will be further processed by statistical tests. The current literature describes general specifications of the demand for carsharing, but the selection of types of carsharing models by the residents of Děčín is not described. The thesis can be used by potential carsharing operators in the city of Děčín, while the thesis will also highlight the different perspectives of sociodemographic groups on different carsharing models, which can be an input for further improvement of services in cities where this service is already operating.
