Tato bakalářská práce představuje pojem demokratického deficitu v EU. Tento pojem je v souvislosti s EU poměrně často spojovaný, nicméně je relativně obtížné najít jeho příčiny. Na jeho projevech a příčinách, ani na samotné existenci demokratického deficitu, se akademici neshodnou, a tak je každý hledá v něčem jiném. This thesis introduces the concept of democratic deficit in the EU. This concept is frequently associated with the EU, but it is rather challenging to find its causes. Academics do not agree on its manifestations and causes, nor on the existence of the democratic deficit itself. Therefore, everyone is looking for something distinctive.
