Teaching Methods Used by Student Teachers

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Výukové metody studentů učitelství“ se zaměřuje na téma výukových metod a širšího rámce jejich uplatňování v rámci edukačního procesu na druhém stupni základní školy. V bližším vymezení práce pojednává i o využívání výukových metod studentů učitelství během učitelské praxe. Teoretická část je rozdělena na kapitoly: Edukace a její aktéři v prostředí základní školy a Výukové metody. První kapitola zakotvuje hlavní téma výukových metod do širšího rámce edukační reality v základní škole. Text se zaměřuje na charakteristiku hlavních aktérů edukace, tj. učitele a žáka a jejich vzájemnou interakci a (pedagogickou) komunikaci. Pozornost je rovněž věnována souvisejícím tématům edukačního prostředí a procesu výuky. Kapitola druhá se věnuje výukovým metodám. V úvodní podkapitole je vymezen a definován pojem výukové metody. Následující část přináší rozličné pohledy na klasifikaci a třídění metod výuky s popisem jednotlivých výukových metod. Poslední podkapitola se zaměřuje na problematiku výběru a preference jednotlivých metod výuky v závislosti na rozličných faktorech a kritériích ve vztahu k edukačnímu procesu. Praktická část prezentovaná v závěrečné třetí kapitole obsahově navazuje na závěr části teoretické. Úvod kapitoly se věnuje stanoveným cílům práce a metodice. Obsahem následující části je prezentace a interpretace výsledků výzkumného šetření, jehož cílem bylo odpovědět na výzkumnou otázku, jaké výukové metody preferují studenti učitelství. Výzkum se zaměřil i na širší rámec uplatňování výukových metod, jako je např. vliv výukových metod na motivaci žáků ve výuce, motivaci učitele, udržení kázně ad. Závěr je vyhrazen shrnutí poznatků a diskusi.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis "Teaching Methods of Teaching Students" focuses on the topic of teaching methods and the wider framework of their applications in the educational process at the second level of elementary school. The delineation of the thesis also deals with using of teaching methods of teaching students during their teaching practice. The theoretical part is divided into chapters: Education and its persons involved in elementary school environment and the Teaching methods. The first chapter establishes the main theme of teaching methods in the wider framework of educational reality in elementary school. The text focuses on the characteristics of the main player of education, i.e. a teacher and a pupil, and their mutual interaction and (pedagogical) communication. Attention is also paid to the related topics of the educational environment and the teaching process. The second chapter deals with teaching methods. The concept of the teaching method is specified and defined in the introductory subchapter. The following section provides different views on classifying and classifying teaching methods with a description of individual teaching methods. The last subchapter focuses on the problem of selection and preference of individual teaching methods, depending on various factors and criteria in relation to the educational process. The practical part presented in the final third chapter follows the conclusion of the theoretical part. The introduction of the chapter deals with the objectives of the work and methodology. The content of the following part is the presentation and interpretation of the research results, whose aim was to answer the research question about the teaching methods preferred by the students of teaching. The research has also focused on a wider framework for using of teaching methods, such as the influence of teaching methods on the motivation of pupils in teaching, the motivation of the teacher, the retention of discipline. The conclusion is dedicated to a summary of the findings and a following discussion.
