The use of 3D printing in teaching geography at primary school

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je vytvořit a ověřit efektivitu sady výukových aktivit v oblasti zeměpisu na základních školách, které využívají 3D tisk k podpoře vizualizace geografických konceptů. Práce se zaměří na návrh a implementaci konkrétních výukových materiálů, které budou vytvořeny pomocí 3D tisku, a analyzuje jejich dopad na zapojení žáků a porozumění učiva ve výuce zeměpisu. V teoretické části budou představeny základní principy 3D tisku a jejich dosavadní využití ve vzdělávání. Praktická část se zaměří na návrh a realizaci výukových aktivit a materiálů navržených po výuku zeměpisu s pomocí 3D tisku. Ověření a reflexe výukových aktivit a materiálů bude provedeno se žáky základní školy.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to create and verify the effectiveness of a set of educational activities in the field of geography at elementary schools, which utilize 3D printing to support the visualization of geographic concepts. The thesis will focus on the design and implementation of specific teaching materials created using 3D printing and analyze their impact on student engagement and understanding of geography curriculum. The theoretical part will introduce the basic principles of 3D printing and its current applications in education. The practical part will focus on the design and implementation of teaching activities and materials proposed for geography education using 3D printing. The verification and reflection of teaching activities and materials will be conducted with elementary school students.
