Statutes of food's guilds in royal town Cheb in 15. and 16.century

Abstract:

This bachelor?s work is based on the statute of food crafts in the Royal Town of Cheb especially in the period of the Middle Age. It concerns the 16th century weather the older rules occurred and the century following. The development of the rules concerns butchers, bakers and gingerbread makers, maltsters and millers. It concerns duties of the crafts for its members. The rules are divided into each parts but it is not always the rule. The rules explain the conditions of masters? exams. The new member?s entrance, relation among masters an duties in the area of the craftsman activity, also morals and further instructions needed for the craft existence. I was inspired by the edition of Karel Siegel who formed the craft rules of Cheb. The work also contains brief description of each food crafts which are mentioned in the edition. Further I describe a craft origin and development in our country and its structure. After filling of this topic I have briefly described history concerning the town of Cheb from its beginning into 20th century. The work of this topic contributes into the history of the Western Bohemia.

Abstract:

Tato práce je zaměřena na statuta potravinářských řemesel v královském městě Chebu, zejména na pozdní středověk. Jedná se tedy hlavně o 16.století, přičemž se objevují i stanovy starší, ale také z počátku století následujícího. Rozbor regulí se týká řezníků, pekařů, perníkářů, sladovníků a mlynářů, obsahujíc povinnosti cechu pro jejich členy. Regule jsou zpravidla rozděleny do jednotlivých článků, ale není to vždy pravidlem. Stanovy vypovídají o podmínkách mistrovských zkoušek, vstupu nového člena, vztahu mezi mistry a učedníky, povinnosti v rámci náplni činnosti každého řemesla, také mravní zásady a další nařízení potřebná k fungování v cechu. Vycházela jsem z edice Karla Siegla, který zpracoval chebské cechovní artikule z archivních pramenů. Práce obsahuje také stručný popis jednotlivých potravinářských řemesel, které jsou v edici uvedeny. Dále jsem nastínila vznik a vývoj cechů na našem území a jejich strukturu. Pro doplnění daného tématu jsem stručně popsala dějiny města Chebu od jeho počátků až do 20. století. Práce touto problematikou přispívá k hospodářským dějinám západních Čech.
