Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Pohled na důstojnost lidského života a problém eutanazie očima studentů vybraných církevních a státních škol” je rozdělena na dvě části. První, teoretická část, je zaměřena na lidskou důstojnost, problematiku eutanazie a její historii. Úvodní kapitola se věnuje lidské důstojnosti, hodnotě života a problému eutanazie obecně. Druhá kapitola definuje eutanazii, vysvětluje její jednotlivé typy a věnuje se její historii od starověku do novověku. Třetí kapitola se soustředí na problematiku zneužití eutanazie se zaměřením na období vlády nacistické ideologie. Čtvrtá kapitola práce se zabývá legislativou zemí, kde je eutanazie legální, a pátá kapitola se věnuje legislativě týkající se eutanazie v České republice a procesu legalizace v České republice. Poslední kapitola teoretické části se věnuje argumentaci zastánců a odpůrců eutanazie a nejčastějším názorům a pohledům na danou problematiku ve společnosti. Druhá část práce je část praktická, která obsahuje výzkum, prováděný na vybraných školách v Brně. Za pomoci dotazníků mapuje názory současných studentů na problém eutanazie a pohled na její případnou legalizaci.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis „Insight into the dignity of human life and the problem of euthanasia from the point of view of students from selected church and state schools” is divided into two parts. The first theoretical part focuses on the the concept of human dignity, the problem of euthanasia and the history of euthanasia. The first chapter of the theoretical part deals with human dignity and the problem of euthanasia in general. The second chapter defines euthanasia, explains particular types of euthanasia and provides a retrospective historical overview of euthanasia from the antiquity to the modern history. The third chapter discuss problematics of its abuse with the focus on the period of Nazi regime and it is ideology. The fourth chapter deals with legislation in countries, where euthanasia is legal and the fifth charter analyze legislation and process of legalization of euthanasia in the Czech Republic. The last chapter of the theoretical part arguments of both supporters and opponents and presents the most common opinions about this problematics in the Czech society. The second part of this thesis is practical and it consists of the actual research which was conducted at the chosen schools in Brno. By using questionnaires it surveys the perception of students from the selected church or state schools and it analyzes their points of view on the problematics of euthanasia and its possible legalization.
