Extrapolation of Missing Contour Segments in 2D Images

This thesis deals with algorithm design for extrapolating and completing missing contour sections in 2D images. The algorithm is intended for use in segmenting cells from images scanned by an optical microscope. Práca sa zaoberá návrhom algoritmu na riešenie extrapolácie a dopĺňania chýbajúcich úsekov kontúr v 2D obrázkoch. Algoritmus je zameraný na použitie pri segmentácii buniek z obrázkov nasnímaných optickým mikroskopom.
