Identification of persons based on external signs

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce představuje identifikaci osob podle vnějších znaků. První kapitola pojednává o samotné historii – období před Alphonsem Bertillonem, porovnání antropometrie s daktyloskopií, posléze překonání antropometrie. Druhá kapitola se věnuje přímo pojmu portrétní identifikace osob. Třetí kapitola rozlišuje druhy popisu osob, porovnává úřední a laický popis osob, dále také subjektivní a objektivní faktory ovlivňující popis vnějších znaků. Čtvrtá kapitola patří metodám sestavování portrétu osoby jako je grafická metoda, plastická metoda a další metody, do kterých spadá také Identikit, MIMIC či využití výpočetní techniky a užívání programů PORIDOS a FACETTE. Pátá kapitola pojednává o identifikaci osob podle fotografie a mrtvol neznámé totožnosti. Šestá kapitola a zároveň poslední část před závěrem je praktická část, která je věnovaná identifikaci osob z pohledu laiků prostřednictvím ankety.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis presents the identification of persons based on external signs.The first chapter deals with the history itself - the period before Alphonse Bertillon, a comparison of anthropometry with dactyloscopy, then overcoming anthropometry. The second chapter deals directly with the concept of portrait identification of persons. The third chapter distinguishes the types of descriptions of persons, compares official and lay descriptions of persons, as well as subjective and objective factors influencing the description of external features. The fourth chapter belongs to the methods of compiling a portrait of a person, such as the graphic method, the plastic method and other methods, which also include Identikit, MIMIC or the use of computer technology and the use of PORIDOS and FACETTE programs. The fifth chapter deals with the identification of persons according to photographs and corpses of unknown identity. The sixth chapter and also the last part before the conclusion is a practical part, which is devoted to the identification of persons from the point of view of lay people through a survey.
