Adaptation of employees in chosen personal agency

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá adaptačním procesem ve vybrané personální agentuře. Záměrem práce je zjistit úspěšnost adaptačního procesu agentury z pohledu jejích zaměstnanců, z důvodu fluktuace nových pracovníků v prvním roce od jejich nástupu na pracovní místo. Práce je rozdělena na tři části. Teoretická část definuje klíčové termíny pro problematiku adaptace a nastiňuje situaci uvnitř zkoumané personální agentury. V metodologické části je rozpracována hlavní výzkumná otázka do tří oblastí adaptace, kterými jsou: pracovní, sociální a kulturní. Úspěšné zvládnutí těchto oblastí, které se navzájem prolínají, je základem pro zadaptování nového zaměstnance. Též je v této kapitole popsána strategie a zvolené metody výzkumu. V poslední empirické části je provedena analýza získaných dat a shrnutí poznatků sloužících k zodpovězení dílčích výzkumných otázek a hlavní výzkumné otázky. Součástí empirické části jsou navrhovaná doporučení pro zkvalitnění adaptačního procesu zkoumané personální agentury, tak aby byli zaměstnanci s procesem spokojenější.

Abstract:

This master‘s thesis deals with the adaptation process in the selected personnel agency. The intention of this work is to determine the success of the adaptation proces in the agency from its employees view due to the fluctuation of new employees in the first year after their employment. The work is divided into three parts. The theoretical part defines key terms for the issue of adaptation and outlines the situation inside the examined personnel agency. The methodological part elaborated the main research question into three areas of adaptation, which are: labor, social and cultural. Successful management of these areas, which blend together, is the base for adaptation of a new employee. Also this chapter describes the strategy and selected research methods. In the last part is the empirical analysis of the obtained data and summarize of findings used to answer specific research questions and main research question. Part of the empirical part are proposed recommendations for improving the adaptation process in examined personnel agency, so that employees could be more satisfied with the process.
