Abstract:

Bakalářská práce V zajetí katedrály: Interpretace autorů od realismu po současnost je koncipována jako praktický výkon malířský, kreslířský i prostorový, doprovázený teoretickou studií. Praktickou část představuje deset výsledných děl, zahrnujících malby na plátně, videa i fotografie, zaměřených na katedrálu v Peterbourghu, o které se píše hned v první části bakalářské práce. Inspirovala jsem se tvorbou několika významných umělců a na základě jejich výtvarného projevu jsem se snažila umělecky ztvárnit či zpracovat zmíněnou katedrálu. Cílem práce není napodobení výrazových prostředků daných autorů, ale snaha přiblížit se jejich myšlení a uvažování, vcítění se do jejich tvorby a inspirací. Teoretická část je pak zaměřena na životní osudy interpretovaných autorů s důrazem na tvorbu, ale také na možné využití těchto praktik ve výtvarné výchově. Obě části se vzájemně doplňují a prolínají.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis In Captivity of the Cathedral: Interpretation of the authors from Realism up to present is designed as a practical output of paintings, drawings, but also spatial works accompanied with theoretical study. In practical part there are ten final works including paitings on canvas, videos and photographs focused on Peterborough cathedral, which is mentioned right in the first part of my bachelor thesis. I have drawn inspiration from works of several significant artists and based on their artistic manifestation I tried to depict the Cathedral. The target of my work is not just an imitation of the vehicles of expression of the authors, but an effort to get closer to their thinking, empathizing into their work and inspirations. Theoretical part is then focused on life stories of interpreted authors with an emphasis on their work, but also on possible utilization of these practices in Art education. Both two parts intermingle and complement each other.
