Táto diplomová práca sa zaoberá problematikou efektívnosti hospodárenia s obecným majetkom. Teoretická časť práce obsahuje históriu obecného vlastníctva a nakladanie s ním. Ďalej sú v práci uvedené orgány obcí, ktoré sú oprávnené hospodáriť s obecným majetkom. Práca obsahuje aj povinnosti obcí pri hospodárení s obecným majetkom, ktoré vyplývajú z platnej legislatívy.
