Řešení rozsáhlých distribučních úloh v systému MPL for Windows/Gurobi

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na představení několika typů distribučních úloh lineárního programování a dále na měření a následné porovnávání výkonu dvou různých solverů, Gurobi a CPLEX, při řešení těchto úloh o značných rozsazích. Solvery byly spouštěny nejprve samostatně a poté v propojení s dalším softwarovým nástrojem MPL for Windows. V textu je krátký popis daných solverů a popis procesu generace dat pro výpočetní experimenty. Práce také obsahuje postup, jakým způsobem je možné propojit solvery s daty. V neposlední řadě jsou v práci uvedeny konkrétní kódy matematických modelů, které dané problémy řeší.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on introduciton of a couple of types of distribution problems of linear programming and then on measuring and comparison of performance of two different solvers, Gurobi and CPLEX, whilst solving these problems in significant sizes.Solvers are firstly being used in their standalone form and then in combination with another software tool MPL for Windows. The text consists of a short description of the used solvers as well as the data generating process for the experiments. There is also a description of how to connect the solvers with sets of data and lastly there are the actual mathematical model codes that solve the problems.
