Geografické informační systémy jsou systémy pro získávání, ukládání, analýzu a vizualizaci dat, která mají prostorový vztah k povrchu Země. Cílem bakalářské práce je zmapovat možnosti využívání těchto systému v cestovním ruchu a popsat současné trendy a potenciál jejich využití do budoucna. Abstract:
A geographic information system is a system that provides spatial data entry, management, retrieval, analysis, and visualization functions. The objective of the thesis is to explore the possibility of GIS application in tourism and describe the main trends. The paper focuses on examination of the functions and usability of GIS which are presented on many examples.
