Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou amputací, a to zejména transtibiálních. Teoretická část zahrnuje stručné seznámení s historií, indikacemi k výkonu a možnými komplikacemi, které mohou nastat. Dále jsou zmíněná témata jako je péče o bércový pahýl, možnosti fyzioterapie u pacienta v pooperační fázi, vybavení pacienta protézou a způsob chůze u osob s transtibiální amputací.
