Anotácia:

V dané diplomové práci za pomocí metody analýzy je zkoumána regulace finančních trhů, zejména pak regulace platebního styku ve vybraných státech – České republice a Singapuru. V první části diplomové práce jsou vymezeny základní pojmy finančního trhu, definovány subjekty finančního trhu, popsána jeho struktura a funkce. Následuje popis regulace finančních trhu – příčiny existence, hlavní cíle, modely a úrovně regulace. Druhá část závěrečné práce je zaměřená na analýzu regulace a dohledu nad platebním stykem ve vybraných státech s důrazem na příslušnou legislativu. Poslední část práce je věnována komparaci právních úprav platebního styku a zhodnocení současné situace ve vybraných státech. Na základě provedené analýzy jsou určeny výhody a nevýhody současné regulace vybraných států, uvedené návrhy a doporučení a možný budoucí vývoj. V závěru práce je provedeno zhodnocení stanovených cílů.

Abstract:

The thesis will use the method of analysis to examine the regulation of financial markets, in particular the regulation of payment services market in selected countries – the Czech Republic and Singapore. The first part of the thesis defines the basic concepts of the financial market, defines the subjects of the financial market, describes its structure and functions. This is followed by a description of financial market regulation – reasons for its existence, main objectives, models and levels of regulation. The second part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of regulation and supervision of payment services market in selected countries with emphasis on the relevant legislation. The last part of the thesis is devoted to a comparison of payment services regulations and an assessment of the current situation in the selected countries. Based on the analysis, the advantages and disadvantages of the current regulation in the selected countries are identified, suggestions and recommendations are made and possible future developments are presented. The thesis concludes with an evaluation of the objectives set.
