Polarization tendencies in the labor market

Abstract:

Prudičová, J. Polarizační tendence na trhu práce. Bakalářská práce. Brno: Mendelova univerzita v Brně, 2019. V textu se zabývám mzdovou polarizací na trhu práce. Popisuji faktory podněcující mzdovou polarizaci a ukazatele využívané k její identifikaci. Vývoj mzdových nerovností zkoumám především na základě průměrných mezd v rámci jednotlivých kvalifikačních skupin pracovníků. V práci se mi nepodařilo prokázat růst mzdové polarizace v posledních letech v rámci zemí EU.

Prudičová, J. Polarization tendencies in the labor market. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2021. In the text, I deal with wage polarization in the labor market. I describe the factors causing wage polarization and the indicators used to identify it. I have been examining the development of wage inequalities through the average wages in individual qualification groups of workers. In my work, I did not manage to prove the growth of wage polarization in EU countries in recent years.
