Cyber security and its threats

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se převážně věnuje kybernetické bezpečnosti, ale pro plné pochopení této oblasti je potřeba čtenáře seznámit i se základními pojmy, jako je kybernetický prostor, triáda CIA apod. Dále se tato práce věnuje i kybernetické trestné činnosti, a to nejen tomu, co to kybernetická trestná činnost je, ale zejména také druhům kybernetických hrozeb spolu s nedávnými případy, kde se zmiňované kybernetické hrozby objevily. Poté jsou představeny hlavní organizace, které mají na starost kybernetickou bezpečnost jak v ČR, tak i v Evropské unii. Jsou představeny jejich funkce, kompetence apod. Spolu s kybernetickou bezpečností souvisí i její vývoj v ČR, který je podrobně popsán. Nakonec je provedena komparace dvou populárních sociálních sítí v rámci nabízených možností zabezpečení účtu uživatele.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is mainly devoted to cyber security, but for a full understanding of this area it is necessary to acquaint the reader with basic concepts such as cyberspace, the CIA triad, etc. Furthermore, this work also deals with cybercrime, not only what cybercrime is, but especially, the types of cyber threats, along with recent cases where these cyber threats have emerged. Then the main organizations in charge of cyber security in both the Czech Republic and the European Union are introduced. Their functions, competencies, etc. are presented. Along with cyber security, its development in the Czech Republic is also related, which is described in detail. Finally, a comparison of two popular social networks is made within the offered security options of the user's account.
