Courator's Concept of Exhibition in the Context of Education in Gallery

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Kurátorský koncept výstavy v kontextu galerijního vzdělávání“ odhaluje úlohu kurátora v kontextu galerijního vzdělávání. Kurátor je v této práci vnímán jako první článek v procesu galerijní edukace. Vytváří výstavní koncept, na který je galerijním pedagogem vázán výchovně-vzdělávací program. Informace k tématu byly získány z literárních pramenů a internetových zdrojů. Nadstavbou hlavního textu jsou rozhovory s brněnskými kurátory, které pomohly objasnit danou problematiku.

Abstract:

My Bachelor's project "Curator's concept of exposition in the context of gallery education" reveals curators assignment in the context of gallery education. Curator is in this task meant to be the first part of the chain in the whole proces of gallery education. He creates concept of the exhibition, which is bound by the educational program by the lecturer. Information for this particular topic were gained from literature and internet sources. As an addition to the general part were added interviews with Brno's curators, which helped to enlighten questions.
