Development of the Business Academy in Marianske Hory 1918

Abstract:

Hlavním předmětem zkoumání této bakalářské práce je vývoj středního školství na přelomu 19. a 20. století, obchodní školy v Mariánských Horách a struktura jejího studentstva. Podle jednotlivých školních roků byla zpracována historie školy a také byla provedena stratifikace žáků a žákyň v období 1905 - 1918. Práce je postavena především na archivních pramenech a na dnešní a dobové literatuře. Prostřednictvím archivního materiálu jsem se snažil nastínit strukturu studenstva této školy a vývoj ústavu do roku 1918.

Abstract:

The main objective of study of this bachelor thesis is the development of the secondary education between 19th and 20th centuries, school of business in Mariánské Hory and the structure of its studenthood. On the basis of specific school terms I have elaborated the history of the school and also have made stratification of the male and female students in the course of 1905 - 1918. The thesis is based mainly on archive sources and the literature of both today and that time period. Via the archive materials, I have attempted to make an outline of the studenthood structure of this school and the development of the institution till 1918.
