Wall Paintings in the st. Wenceslas Church in Broumov
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce pojednává o nástěnných malbách v kostele sv. Václava v Broumově, kde nalezneme zejména české zemské patrony. Vyzdvižen je především titulární světec kostela - svatý Václav. Autorem maleb je bavorský malíř Felix Anton Scheffler. Pozornost je věnována především ikonografickému rozboru malby.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis deals with wall paintings in St. Wenceslas Church in Broumov, where we can find mainly Czech saints. Paintings accent titular saint of this church - saint Wenceslas. Author of this work is Bavarian painter Felix Anton Scheffler. We pay attention especially to iconographic analysis of the painting.
