Specifics of nursing care of patients with myasthenia gravis

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na specifika ošetřovatelské péče o pacienta s onemocněním myasthenia gravis. Tato práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část popisuje charakteristiku onemocnění, včetně historie, diagnostiky, klinických příznaků spolu s možnými komplikacemi spojené s tímto onemocněním. Dále popisuje možnosti léčby, prognózu onemocnění a specifika týkající se ošetřovatelské péče o pacienty s myasthenia gravis. K vypracování praktické části byla zvolena kvalitativní průzkumná metoda, kterou je vypracovaná kazuistika na konkrétního pacienta hospitalizovaného na jednotce intenzivní péče s diagnózou myasthenia gravis. K získání ošetřovatelské anamnézy byl aplikovaný ošetřovatelský model dle M. Gordon. Analýza a identifikace ošetřovatelských diagnóz byla získána s využitím NANDA taxonomie II. Cílem práce je identifikace základních ošetřovatelských diagnóz, vytvoření obecného ošetřovatelského plánu u pacienta s onemocněním myasthenia gravis a sestavení mapy ošetřovatelské péče. Po vypracování kazuistiky byly stanoveny na jejím základě aktuální a potencionální ošetřovatelské diagnózy. Byl stanoven ošetřovatelský plán s intervencemi a hodnocením stanoveného cíle. Na základě stanovených diagnóz byl vypracován obecný ošetřovatelský plán. Dále byla vypracována mapa ošetřovatelské péče, která obsahuje ošetřovatelské diagnózy, cíle, intervence a hodnocení u pacienta s onemocněním myasthenia gravis.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the specifics of nursing care for patients with myasthenia gravis. This thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part describes the characteristics of the disease, including its history, diagnosis, clinical symptoms, and possible complications associated with this condition. It also describes treatment options, disease prognosis, and specifics regarding nursing care for patients with myasthenia gravis. For the practical part, a qualitative exploratory method was chosen, which is represented by a case study of a specific patient hospitalized in the intensive care unit with a diagnosis of myasthenia gravis. Nursing history was obtained using the nursing model according to M. Gordon. Analysis and identification of nursing diagnoses were obtained using NANDA taxonomy II. The aim of the thesis is to diagnose basic nursing diagnoses, create a general nursing care plan for patients with myasthenia gravis and development of nursing care map. After completing the case study, current and potential nursing diagnoses were established. A nursing plan with interventions and evaluation of the set goal was established based on the identified diagnoses. A general nursing care plan was developed based on the established diagnoses. Furthermore, a nursing care map was created, containing nursing diagnoses, goals, interventions, and evaluations for patients with myasthenia gravis.
