Financial analysis and financial plan of Snaha, a.s.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá finanční analýzou společnosti Snaha, a.s., za roky 2010 až 2014 a nástinem dlouhodobého finančního plánu pro rok 2016 až 2018. Práce se skládá ze dvou hlavních částí. V první části je vymezena metodika finanční analýzy, která obsahuje postupy pro vyhodnocení finanční situace podniku. Druhá část se zabývá samotnou společností a její historií. Následuje finanční analýza společnosti, vyvození závěrů z jejích výsledků a porovnání výpočtů se dvěma hlavními českými konkurenty. Zjištěná data jsou následně aplikována na bankrotní model IN05. V závěru je vypočítán dlouhodobý finanční plán pro roky 2016 až 2018, který obsahuje plánovaný výkaz zisku a ztráty a plánovanou rozvahu. Dlouhodobý finanční plán je rozdělen do dvou částí. V první je vypočítán tříletý finanční plán za předpokladu, že firma neprodá starý areál a bude pokračovat v běžném provozu. Ve druhé části je vypočítán dopad realizace projektu nákupu nové haly na finanční výkazy v průběhu následujících tří let.

Abstract:

This bachaleor thesis is focused on financial analysis of the company Snaha, a.s., which is made between 2010 to 2014. Another step is to outline its long-term financial plan for the year 2016 to 2018. The thesis consists of two main parts. The first part is aimed on methodology, which shows the procedures that are used for evaluating the financial situation of the company. The second part focuses on the company itself and its history. Moreover, it consists from the financial analyzis and conclusions made from those results and the comparison with relevant czech competitors. Afterwards the information from the financial analysis is applied on the bankruptcy model IN05. In the the end of the second part, there is the long-term financial plan that includes a planned profit and loss statement and a planned balance sheet. The long-term financial plan is divided into two parts. In the first part, there is calculated a 3 year financial plan assuming that the company will not sell the old hall and continue with the normal production. In the second part, there is calculated the impact that the realization of buying a new hall would have on the financial statements over the course of three years.
