The Tax Reforms In Small Open Economies

Abstract:

The thesis is dealing with development and benefits of fiscal reforms in Slovak and Czech Republic.First chapter is dealing with fiscal system, his main parts and factors, which affect him. It analyzes the basic components of this complicated complex and includes genesis and characteristics of the tax. It dedicates conditions for achieving the optimal situation in fiscal system, so as to minimize losses caused by taxes and to maximize the social benefit. In the second part is in chronological order included every important reform made in the region of Czechoslovakia, and after 1993 in the Slovak and Czech Republic. Fiscal reforms, included in second part, aptly captures as important, principled and systematic intervention in the fiscal system. The result included in the third chapter, from detailed examination of the reforms is paid to their effects on various dimensions of these small open economies. The third section compares the tax burden of the Slovak Republic before and after the reform in 2004. The last section details the changes reflected in the value added tax.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca sa zaoberá vývojom a prínosom daňových reforiem v Slovenskej a Českej republike. Prvá kapitola sa zaoberá daňovým systémom, jeho hlavnými časťami a faktormi, ktoré naňho vplývajú. Rozoberá základné zložky toho zložitého komplexu a zahŕňa genézu a charakteristiky dane. Venuje sa i podmienkam dosiahnutia optimálneho stavu daňového systému, čím by sa minimalizovali straty spôsobené zdanením a maximalizoval by sa spoločenský úžitok. V druhej časti práce je v chronologickom zoradení zahrnutá každá významná reforma uskutočnená na území Československej republiky a po roku 1993 na území Slovenskej a Českej republiky. Daňové reformy, obsiahnuté v druhej časti, výstižne zachytáva ako podstatný, principiálny a systémový zásah do daňového systému. Výsledok zahrnutý v tretej kapitole, získaný podrobným skúmaním reforiem, sa venuje ich účinkom na jednotlivých dimenziách v týchto malých otvorených ekonomikách. Tretia sekcia porovnáva daňovo-odvodové zaťaženie Slovenskej republiky pred reformou a po roku 2004. Posledná časť podrobne rozoberá zmeny odrazené na dani z pridanej hodnoty
