Práce zpochybňuje stereotypní rozdělení dobra a zla v románech Brama Stokera Dracula a Charlese R. Maturina Melmoth the Wanderer. První část se zaměřuje na netvory zobrazené v obou románech, které dává do spojitosti s irskými lidovými pověstmi a pokouší se v nich najít i jiné než nestvůrné rysy. The thesis questions the stereotypical distinction of good and evil in Bram Stoker's Dracula and Charles R. Maturin's Melmoth the Wanderer. The first part of the thesis focuses on the monsters depicted in the two novels.
