The Effectiveness of Advertising on Pornographic Websites

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá prostředím internetových pornografických stránek, jehož součástí je i inzertní plocha určená pro uplatnění reklamy. Výzkum je zaměřen na důvody návštěvy, následné chování a vnímání reklamy samotnými uživateli pornografických stránek. Cílem práce je z těchto zjištění vyvodit, zda a jak by bylo možné v tomto prostoru inzerovat efektivněji. V teoretické části lze najít klíčové poznatky a vymezení pojmů spadajících do jednotlivých témat této práce. Jedná se o oblasti: erotika, pornografie, sociologické rozdělení populace, marketingová komunikace nebo současné podoby internetové inzerce. V praktické části je popsán průběh dotazníkového šetření, spolu s individuálními hloubkovými polostrukturovanými rozhovory, jež přinesly relevantní podkladná data odpovídající na výzkumné otázky. Závěry celé práce mohou být přínosné pro další akademické účely i praktická řešení v marketingovém prostředí.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the environment of Internet pornographic sites, which includes an advertising space designed for the application of advertising. The research is focused on the reasons for visiting, subsequent behavior, and perception of advertising by the users of these sites. This work aims to deduce from these findings whether and how it would be possible to advertise more effectively in this space. The theoretical part can find key findings and definitions of terms dealing with this work's topics. These are eroticism, pornography, sociological distribution of the population, advertising, or the current form of Internet advertising. The practical part presents the questionnaire survey and individual semi-structured interviews, which brought relevant background data corresponding to research questions. The whole work's conclusions can be beneficial for following academic purposes and practical solutions in the marketing environment.
