Glycated haemoglobin HbA1C and current diagnostic criteria for diabetes mellitus
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice glykovaného hemoglobinu a jeho využití při diagnostice diabetu. Zabývá se vznikem glykovaného hemoglobinu, možnostmi jeho stanovení a využití při léčbě a diagnostice diabetu. Práce popisuje i další ukazatele diabetu využívané v klinických laboratořích (glukóza, C-peptid, fruktosaminy).
Abstract:
Bachelor thesis deals with the issue of glycated haemoglobin and its potential use in the diagnosis of diabetes mellitus. It deals with the formation of glycated haemoglobin, possibilities of its determination and usein the treatment and diagnosis of diabetes. The work describes other markers of diabetes that can be applied in clinical laboratory (glucose, C peptide, fructosamine).
