Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o životě a díle Egona Hostovského. Představuje směry, do nichž je Hostovského dílo řazeno a etapy jeho tvorby. Hlavním tématem práce je špionáž a následná analýza špionážní tematiky v Hostovského pěti poválečných prózách – Nezvěstný, Půlnoční pacient, Dobročinný večírek, Všeobecné spiknutí a Epidemie. Abstract:
This bachelor thesis focuses on the life and literary works of Egon Hostovsky. It represents the literary directions into which Hostovsky’s work is assigned and also the stages of his work. The main theme of this thesis is espionage and subsequent analysis of the espionage theme in Hostovsky’s five post-war prose – The Missing, The Midnight Patient, The Charity Ball, The Plot and The Epidemic.
