Comparison of conflicts over valuable timber: Case studies of Burma and Borneo

After the year 1989 in which the era of bipolarity ended the number of intra-state conflicts significantly rose. In many of them the natural resources played a nonnegligible role. Po roku 1989, ktorým skončilo obdobie bipolarity výrazne vzrástol počet vnútroštátnych konfliktov. V mnohých z nich zohrávali nezanedbateľnú úlohu nerastné suroviny a prírodné zdroje. Jedným z nich je aj vzácne drevo. Práca sa zaoberá deskripciou a porovnaním konfliktov so surovinovým kontextom na Barme a Borneu (jeho indonézskej časti Kalimantanu).
