Parciální atomové náboje představují důležitý koncept výpočetní chemie. Jsou významným ukazatelem napomáhajícím predikci chemických vlastností molekul. Mezi oblasti jejich využití patří fyzikální chemie, organická chemie a bioinformatika. Hodnoty parciálních nábojů nejsou experimentálně měřitelné, lze je však získat výpočtem. Partial atomic charges represent an important concept in computational chemistry. They are an important indicator, which helps with predicting chemical properties of molecules. Among the areas of their use belongs physical chemistry, organic chemistry and bioinformatics. Values of partial charges can’t be measured experimentally. However they can be obtained by calculation.
