Abstract:
The present bachelor’s thesis closely analyzes two novels written by Canadian Indigenous authors, Indian Horse (2012) by Richard Wagamese and Bone Black (2019) by Carol Rose GoldenEagle. Both these novels deal with contemporary topics resonating in Canadian society – residential schooling and the issue of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW).
