Abstract:

Abstrakt: Tato diplomová práce se zabývá modrotiskem jako tradičním historickým řemeslem. Pro jeho úplné pochopení studuje veškeré okolnosti jeho vzniku, tedy jeho historii vlastní ale i těch odvětví, ze kterých vycházel barvířství a barvení. Hlouběji zkoumá historii modré barvy jakožto kořenů modrotisku, ať již jde o přírodní pigment boryt, přírodní indigo či indigo syntetické. Práce přibližuje dílo návrhářů a designérů, kteří modrotisk užívali anebo užívají. Teoretická část dále představuje historii modrotiskové dílny Jochových ve Strážnici na Moravě, v jejichž spolupráci byla prováděna praktická část a jejíž tradiční dřevěné formy byly východiskem pro výslednou autorskou kolekci. Praktická část se zabývá působením indiga na různé druhy materiálů, ať již jde o vazbu, strukturu, složení či barevnost. V jejím rámci bylo vyzkoušeno mnoho různých druhů tiskových forem pro výrobu formy vlastní, která nakonec sloužila jako doplňková k historické formě ze Strážnice. Tradiční technika modrotisku je posunuta do současné podoby využitím přetisků a chemické reakce s fabricky barvenými textiliemi, která tlumí kontrast modrotisku. Výsledkem této práce pak je kolekce 10 dámských oděvů působících aktuálně, aniž by došlo ke ztrátě vnitřního nádechu tradice.

Abstract:

Abstract: This diploma thesis focuses on blueprint as a traditional and historical craft. It studies its origin, and also the history of fabric dyeing and colouring which blueprint developed from. We also deal with the history of the blue dye and its roots we focuse on natural pigment which is woad, and natural and syntetic indigo dye. The thesis also introduces works of designers who use or used blueprint in their collections. In the theoretical part of the thesis we describe history of a blueprint workshop of Joch's family in Straznice in Moravia. This workshop played a significant role in carrying out the practical part of the thesis, their wooden stencils were used to create the designer collection. In the practical part of this work we deal with a use of indigo dye on different materials (different structure, fiber, colour) We tried many different stencils. In the end we created our own stencil and used it along with a historcial one which came from Straznice. The result of this work is a collection of 10 pieces of clothing for ladies, they are all very modern but still have a traditional feel.
