Capital structure in conditions of SME and its influence on the success of the company

Abstract:

Daná bakalářská práce je zaměřena na téma kapitálové struktury v podmínkách malých a středních podniku provozujících svoji činnost na území České republiky. Cílem práce je na základě analýzy kapitálové struktury, stanovit jaký má vliv struktura zdrojů na vývoj výkonnosti firmy a její míry zadluženosti. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. První část je zaměřena na teoretické poznatky, kde se mluví o kapitálové struktuře, MSP a je uvedeno základní představení aparátu finanční analýzy který najde uplatnění v následující praktické části. Druhá část je věnovaná vlastní analýze a aplikaci informací z první části. Na začátku je představení statistiky vývoje MSP v ČR. Následně je podle vybrané metodiky provedena finanční analýza, která operují na základě údajů z databázi firem v letech 2008 – 2013. V závěru práce jsou doporučení ohledně kapitálové struktury a celkové zhodnocení zpracovaných informaci.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the topic of capital structure in conditions of small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to determine, based on analysis of the capital structure, how the structure of financial sources had influence on the development of the company performance and its level of indebtedness. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is focused on theoretical knowledge, where we talk about capital structure, SMEs and there is a basic introduction of the financial analysis instruments which will find application in the following practical part. The second part is devoted to the analysis and application of information from the first part. At the beginning there is a presentation of the statistics of SME development in the Czech Republic. Subsequently, according to the selected methodology, financial analysis is carried out, which operate on the basis of data from database of companies in 2008-2013. At the end of thesis are recommendation based on capital structure and the overall evaluation of the processed information
