My place is this world.

Abstract:

Téma "Mé místo je tento svět", mě nutí přemýšlet o mém začlenění do tohoto světa a jak já působím na své okolí. Nejen jaké je mé místo v naší společnosti a zda na tom vůbec záleží, ale i jaké je mé místo v přírodě - tedy v tomto světě. Dílo je situováno na místě, které je mi velmi blízké. Je to místo, kde rád relaxuji prací a ve stejném duchu byla vytvořena i tato bakalářská práce. Jedná se o přímou linii schodů, které vedou na kopec. Schody jsou z přírodního materiálu (kámen) a je okolo nich zanecháno vše, co jim nepřekáželo. Přál jsem si, aby dílo žádného diváka neuráželo. Na délku mají okolo devadesáti metrů a jejich průměrná šířka je osmdesát centimetrů. Podél schodů jsou tři stromy typické pro zdejší krajinu, dva pajasany a jedna planá třešeň, která na jaře hojně kvete a dodává schodům japonský ráz (naprosto neúmyslně).

Abstract:

The theme"My place is this world.", makes me think about my status in the society and this world and how I affect my surroundings. Not only how I understand my place in our culture and its meaning but my place in nature itself my place in this world. My artpiece is placed at location very dear to me .It is at the place, where I love to relax by work and in the same spirit I made my bachelors work. My work is straight line of stairs that goes all the way to the top of the hill. As a material I used hard stone. I did not want to insult anybody with this instalation. Stairs are from natural material, besides that, I left all vegetation that wasn´t standing in the way of stairs. The stairs are about ninety meters long and their average width is about eighty centimeters. Along the stairs there are three trees typical for this landscape, two ashes and one wild cherry that blossom in spring giving the stairs very japanese look (not intentionally).
