Awareness of the general public about the prevention of Covid-19

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na informovanost seniorů a pubescentů o prevenci onemocnění Covid-19. Teoretická část je rozdělena na 3 kapitoly, které se zaměřují na onemocnění Covid-19, prevence Covid-19 a o průběhu a léčbě onemocnění Covid-19. Tato kvalifikační práce si kladla za cíl zjistit úroveň znalostí a vědomostí u dvou skupin - pubescentů a seniorů o přenosu, průběhu a léčbě onemocnění Covid-19. Dále má za cíl zmapovat znalosti pubescentů a seniorů o možných preventivních opatřeních snižující riziko vzniku nákazy Covid-19 a zjištěné výsledky mezi danými skupinami porovnat. Dotazníkové šetření ukázalo, že úroveň znalostí a vědomostí u skupiny pubescentů je mé-ně dostačující než u skupiny seniorů. Zjištěné poznatky z této práce by mohly přispět, aby se společnost více zaměřila a využila různých mechanismů ke zvýšení informovanosti o problematice Covid-19 v kategorii pubescentů. Zvýšená informovanost může vést k poklesu přítomnosti onemocnění v populaci a tím snížení úmrtnosti.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the awareness of seniors and pubescents about the prevention of Covid-19. The theoretical part is divided into 3 chapters, which focus on Covid-19 disease, Covid-19 prevention and the course and treatment of Covid-19 disease. This qualification aimed to determine the level of knowledge and understanding of two groups - pubescents and seniors about the transmission, course and treatment of Covid-19. Further map the knowledge of pubescents and seniors about possible preventive measures to reduce the risk of Covid-19 and compare the results between the groups. The questionnaire survey showed that the level of knowledge in the group of pubescents is less sufficient than in the group of seniors. The findings from this work could help the company to focus more and use various mechanisms to raise awareness of Covid-19 is-sues in the category of pubescents. Increased awareness can lead to a decrease in the pres-ence of the disease in the population and thus a reduction in mortality.
