The development of food allergy in the prenatal period

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá otázkami možného vzniku potravinové alergie již během prenatálního vývoje jedince. V úvodní části je charakterizována potravinová alergie, alergeny a základní mechanismy imunopatologických reakcí. V práci je uveden přehled vývoje imunitního systému v prenatálním období a časně po něm a střevního lymfatického systému k představě o průchodu potravinového alergenu. Stěžejní kapitoly jsou věnovány senzibilizaci potravinovým alergenem u plodu a možnými přenosy alergenu z matky na plod. Závěr práce předkládá informace o současné diagnostice potravinové alergie.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of onset of food allergy during the prenatal development of an individual. The introductory part characterizes food allergies, allergens and basic mechanisms of immunopathological reactions. The thesis describes the development of the immune system in the prenatal period and early after and the intestinal lymfatic system with a focus on the passage of the food allergen. The main chapters are devoted to fetal sensitization to food allergens and the possibilities of transmission of allergens from mother to foetus. In conclusion of this thesis the information about current diagnostics of food allergy is presented.
